As governments around the world imposed shutdowns with short notices. Many are left stranded and ill-prepared.

In one example, our oversea based worker was forced to stay with a relative as freights were cancelled. There were simply no other freights or ways to get back home. Public transportation are also suspended. Majority have never witnessed a lock down of this magnitude.

On trade, businesses without strong fundamentals without a strong plan B are simply buying their time. Some are forced to let off workers. Many expecting government rescue packages and handouts to tide down this difficult periods…

A recession seems inevitable and a slow recovery is on the cards for early 2021…
